What is in my guppy fish tank?
I had my female guppy in a breeder tank because she was pregnant, this morning I woke up to see if she had any fry. Unfortunately, I woke up and she had died. I thought she might have died while giving birth? However there where no fry in the breeder tank. After work I found 5 normal looking fry in my tank. I also found tons of swimming black dots. They are about the size a sand particle. Any ideas of what the swimming black dots could be and if they relate to my guppy giving birth?
Fist the female might have given birth to the fry before you put her in the breeder tank and you might not have noticed the fry. Also the "black dots" could also be some fry that were born with "problems" like a "disability". I suggest you just dispose of them. Good Luck.
