who is the person used for the pga tour logo?
There is no source on-line that I could find that states Hogan was used for the silhouette. Jim Ferree, who IS the silhouette for the PGA Seniors Tour, makes mention of that.
One source claimed that the logo was "tweaked too many times in brand development to be any one golfer, says Dave Lancer, director of information for the Professional Golfer's Association Tour." They provide a link to the supporting article.
Please list a source if you "know for a fact". I too thought I had heard at one time that the logo was modeled after Hogan. But trying to prove that was fruitless.
